Location: Hybrid (Remote + In-Office Collaboration in Toronto)
Compensation: $70K Base + Uncapped Commission (realistically, six figures is on the table)

At Novus Health, we’re solving one of the biggest pain points in healthcare: navigating the system.

Employers are struggling with skyrocketing benefits costs, employees are overwhelmed by healthcare choices, and we have the solution they need.

We’ve already built trusted relationships with major insurers and organizations. Now, we’re expanding into a new market: small and mid-sized employers (10-500 employees) and the benefits brokers who advise them.

This is where you come in.

The Role: Business Development Executive

This is not an “entry-level” job, but it’s also not just a sales role. This is a rare opportunity to own a high-growth vertical and set the foundation for something big.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the full sales cycle—from first outreach to close.
  • Build trust with brokers, benefits advisors, and HR leaders—this is a relationship game.
  • Develop and refine the go-to-market approach—you’re not just executing, you’re shaping strategy.
  • Turn insights into action—analyzing conversations, testing new messaging, and iterating on what works.
  • Collaborate directly with the CEO and leadership team—your voice will be heard.
  • Close deals, make money, and build a career you’re proud of.

  • You have an athlete’s mindset—you know success is earned through effort, discipline, and execution.
  • You’re competitive, but you play the long game—winning isn’t just about closing one deal, it’s about creating momentum.
  • You’re naturally persuasive, but more importantly, you’re a great listener.
  • You don’t just “do sales”—you solve problems, influence decisions, and drive change.
  • You’re insanely resourceful—when there’s no playbook, you figure it out.
  • You love the idea of helping people navigate the healthcare system more effectively.
  • You might come from a completely different background—nursing, finance, teaching, customer success, or athletics—but you know how to build relationships and create impact.
